NOT TOO  “BAE-SIC” YET CUTE HOLIDAY DATE IDEAS WITH YOUR BAE IN TORONTO

Okay, if you’re thinking of basic winter date ideas you’ve probably thought of the  Santa Claus Parade, Toronto Christmas Market, Happy Place, Aurora Winter Festivaland Cavalcade of Lights. These places are aesthetically pleasing for the gram #DOITFORTHEGRAM, but truly basic, packed and overhyped . Here are cozier ideas for spending  winter with your bae : 

1)  Boutique hotel , UberEats and chill ( but not freeze outdoors ) 

Seriously, this is for lazy people. I know for a fact no one enjoys going out in -30 C weather. You would only go out for a cute Christmas tree picture then run indoors. So why not just stay in? Choose a boutique hotel for a cozy at home “feels” and order Uber Eats to your door while you both pretend to be boujee and baller. You and bae can chill at the hotel and get your hands greasy with awesome food without the need to dress all fancy at an expensive restaurant. Disposable cutlery, slippers and dessert (maybe) included. 

2) Go buy and decorate a real Christmas tree and watch your favorite holiday movies in your ugly lit up Christmas sweater with a Christmas tree hat on your heads

Being basic = reusing the same PVC tree you have in your garage every year.  This year, try something new and visit your local tree farm for a fragrant evergreen tree. I promise your house will smell amazingly of pine. And when you are done with the tree, toss it … don’t waste storage space. This idea is cute and your Snapchat story will be lit.
